Investigated and interpreted data sets, find discrepancies and figure out why these discrepancies exist.
Social media mining team + Twitter Bot
Looked for specific names, dates, places and other details on specific cases in order to better understand the circumstances that led to inconsistencies in the data.
Made storify specific names found in the Youth Justice Coalition and LA Times, and killedbypolice.net
Made a Twitter Bot
Stop LAPD Spying Discussion
Discussed with community members reforms in policing that allow more intrusive surveillance and speculative policing.
Visualizations team
Created visualizations on police brutality.
